Brief History
Bible Faith Ministries was formally inaugurated for worship services on the 2nd of March 2014, by the late Dr. Carol Thompson, of Christ for the Nations Bible institute, Dallas Texas. Dr. Carol Thompson was an instructor and a lecturer at the Bible institute for over 40years. He was a man used of God greatly in the area of healing and deliverance. He was a direct mentor to the lead pastor; Pastor Philip Okweni, during his time at Christ For the Nations Bible Institute, where he graduated in December 2012 with an advance diploma in leadership and pastoral ministry.
Prior to this time, the church had operated as a fellowship since 2009 that the ministry was incorporated within the state of Texas as a religious entity.
The vision that became bible Faith Ministries was a direct mandate from God through a vision received by the lead pastor and his wife the same night in July 2009. The revelation unfolded God’s calling for the lead pastor to initiate this ministry work, and the name of the ministry was revealed to his wife. And through deliberate nurturing and following the direct leadings of God, the vision has come alive, as it is today. The journey has only begun; God has great things in store for this ministry, which are unfolding daily as we seek Him. AFFILIATION
Our church is affiliated to Christ for the Nations Fellowship of Ministers and churches, (CFN-FMC), Dallas Texas. Bible Faith Ministries is also part of the Christian Leadership Interdenominational Prayer Forum (CLIP), in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. BFM retain these bodies along with its Board of Directors for oversight and accountability purposes
